The questions that matter
- Filtration: Which specific contaminants does the manufacturer claim to reduce, and under what conditions?
- Evidence: Is there a current certification for this exact model, a laboratory report, or only a marketing statement?
- Daily use: What are the installation requirements, compatibility limitations and flow characteristics?
- Ongoing cost: What is the first-year total, including required replacement filters, shipping and subscription conditions?
- Maintenance: What replacement schedule applies to your household and water conditions?
Keep bathroom and drinking-water use separate
A bathroom filter should be assessed for its intended use. We will only describe a product as suitable for drinking water when its documentation supports that use, including temperature and operating restrictions.
